Writing light and shadow with moments of illumination workshop

Saturday 23rd August

3:30 – 5:00pm

Radius Arts

76 Main Rd, Hepburn Springs

Join Amanda Scotney, writer and Founder of Minds Shine Bright, for this inspiring writing workshop that explores light and shadow to create moments of illumination. Discover the light and shadow of light and of life itself as we experience the ocean, the stars, the workings of a mind, the local pub, a day at the races, grief and joy in our live readings by Poppy White, Alexandra O’Sullivan and Tim Loveday from Light and Shadow anthology and by Kate Foulds from Confidence anthology. Experience layers of aural, visual and cerebral inspiration and write with light and shade to create a moment of illumination.

Discover the Minds Shine Bright anthologies packed with stories and poems by Australian and international writers. Books sales available at event.

Bring a pen and paper or something to write with.

This event is part of the Words in Winter Festival, two weekends filled with literary and arts events to explore in Daylesford and surrounds.
